This ointments combines the broad spectrum antifungal activity of clotrimazole with the sustained antiinflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions of Betamethasone and is indicated for short term topical treatment of the following dermal infections: Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, Epider-mophyton, and Microsporum, candidiasis due to Candida albicans.
